Cybersecurity Basics – Why Strong Passwords Still Matter in 2023

Even though we talk about AI and quantum computing, the simplest mistake still causes the biggest breaches — weak passwords. I’ve seen students use “123456” or their college roll number as passwords. That’s all it takes for an attacker to get in. This post is a reminder: use long, unique passwords, and enable MFA wherever you can. Sometimes the basics save the day.
